For teachers
Calculators for a class page
Put a live finance calculator on your class page with one iframe. It works in Google Sites, Canvas, Schoology, Moodle and WordPress. Students type in the page they already use. No login, nothing to install.
132 calculators and 67 graphs are free to embed. The front door is widgets, starting with the paycheck widget. Host-by-host steps: Google Sites, Canvas, Schoology. Assistants can read the same offer on the assistant page. Term: net pay.
Try it on this page
Change a number. This is the same paycheck calculator your students get, and the one you can put on a class page with the snippet underneath.
Where to paste it
- Google Sites. Insert, Embed, Embed code. Paste the snippet, then publish. Full page: embed in Google Sites.
- Canvas. Edit the page, switch to the HTML editor, paste, save. Canvas steps.
- Schoology, Moodle, Blackboard. Use the HTML or embed widget, not only the rich-text box, so the iframe is not stripped. Moodle, Schoology.
- WordPress and Notion. WordPress: a Custom HTML block. Notion: /embed, then the iframe URL.
Heights that fit
Calculators ship at 480 pixels tall. Graphs ship at 560. If a theme crops the widget, raise the height in the iframe tag. Width is 100 percent so the calculator follows the column it sits in.
Browse every calculator or every interactive tool first if you want to try it on FinanceLearn before you paste it. Educational material, not financial advice.
This page is educational material, not financial advice. The figures come from the formula shown and assume the inputs you enter hold for the whole term. Your own rate, fees, taxes and timing will differ, so treat the output as arithmetic to check a decision against, not as a recommendation.
